Otokoyaku in black tailcoats is always love

Sumire no Hana Sakukoro still remains my favourite Takarazuka song.

Today i finally downloaded the full clip and i got to see/am still seeing Wataru (aka sex on LONG legs) and other hoshigumi members dance to a jazzy version of 'Sumire no Hana' in their black tailcoats with shiny rhinestones on her vested part and pants. The dance is also so handsome, nice and elegant and so...manly?? I don't know how to explain just how beautiful the easy movements are even though these movements are so simple and repeated in any otokoyaku dance. It just kills me. I am officially dead.

The top pair dance at the end is just as jazzy and just as elegant and beautiful. I do like Shirahane Yuri. Although her face at times looks a little bit weird as she's not as pretty as Dan Rei, but she's good. I can't believe that the story of a hankychief can move me and make me squee on all different levels. The closeness of the people as lovers makes me melt and Wataru's sexy looks, the way she combs her hair, the way she brings Yuri's hand into hers and touches them.............is LOVE.

The way Yuri's dress flows makes it evermore so elegant. Angst otokoyaku looks and looks into the eyes and lips of a musumeyaku makes me melt into a puddle and of course the hug at the end with the greatest smile ever has killed me.

    The evidence is here
God damn i'm stuck in disneyland

Why can't love be like that in real life?

    Finally HOlidays~~Vienna Elisabeth review

I'm so glad, it is FINALLY the holidays---a time to catch up and relax. Already it's easter and the year has just zoomed by.

I even had time to do my nails. I've always wanted a French manicure and i just came back from my cousin's house and did my own nails although it's not as long but still it's nice to have beautiful nails.

I'm really glad because last year i recommended Curtin to buy the German musical, Elisabeth on DVD and THEY DID.  I really really really really love my university So far they have bought me most of what i have asked them to buy (except Takarazuka goods but i will forward an excuse to get them to buy a Takarazuka version of Elisabeth).

Anyways, yesterday i borrowed out the DVD which they sped up the process to lend to me during Easter. And once i came home i already put it in. Actually, this version of Elisabeth recorded live at the Theatre in Vienna 30, 31st October 2001 is the first real musical that I have ever seen (you can't consider Takarazuka as a real musical group because they don't employ them to do long runs of musicals). It is also the first time that i saw a musical that used men and women.

Elisabeth is all in German and it's great to hear my favourite musical in another language. I love the music, the orchestra was more powerful compared to the Takarazuka version. I must say, the vocalists and cast members all have incredibly good and strong voices and it's just so powerful that you can feel the whole atmosphere and the power of the hapsburg empire in your own home.

The props used in the Vienna version is completely different from Takarazuka. Here they made use of a staircase in which death descends, Sissi uses to declare that her life belongs to herself and Lucheni uses. It was kind of strange.

Maya Hoovart plays Elisabeth, but i felt she looked a little bit old for young Sissi. However, she has a strong voice and conveyed Sissi's fustration at her husband for complying to his mother's wishes.

Franz Joseph was actually quitebald in this play (something i'm really NOT used to...seeing men play a man's role! I have yet to see a bald Franz  in a takarazuka play) and already had a moustache and i think i saw a little spitting from him but he's voice was deep and acted dutifully putting his country infront of his wife.

I'm really quite impressed by the role of Lucheni. The man who plays him has a trace of insanity in his voice and the added bits in the vocal score impressed me.

Death is played by a young looking blonde German chap. He has quite a handsome face. I'm so very surprised that Death is blonde with hair tied up and not a black evil looking wig. He also lost the cool costumes. In the first scene where Lucheni revives the hapsburgs and calls upon Death, Death looked a mere human. They might be trying to achieve a human death here. He is good at singing and he his voice has a trace of maliciousness which made me think Death was a little crazy. His laugh was not as evil as Shizuki Asato's or Haruno Sumire's, but  was deep and he was the one that rang the bells at the wedding and it was quite funny and interesting seeing Death dangling like a bell boy. This death has a very good voice and in 'The Last Dance', i felt his anger at  Elisabeth for marrying Franz Joseph and felt like he wanted to rape her or something crazy like that for her betrayal.

One thing that i would really want somebody to do is make Sophie to be the misunderstood mother instead of the evil mother in law. Again here she was made quite evil, reminding Sissi of her duties and being her's son's mastermind behind his life and politics and lastly forbidding Sissi's needy son, Crown prince Ruldolph (who was such a cute boy) from seeing his mother. The lady, didn't really sing her parts, more like she spoke and sang some which was a little strange but it meshed well with the head of servants.

I really like the lady who plays the head of the servants, forgot her name but Liechenstien or something like that. She has a beautiful voice with a strong German accent.

The 'Love and Death' song was cut out (???What the???) I continually like the Milk scene which was so strong and powerful and the cast used the milk carrying buckets to good effects. And there is quite a funny man's voice in the cafe scene. What was weird was that in that cafe scene, they were all on bumper cars trying to avoid each other on stage and that was just WEIRD.

However, the most memorable bit of Act 1 was the ending of Act 1. This is where Franz Joseph gives in to Elisabeth's ultimatum in which he choses her over his own mother and Elisabeth appears in a frame, posed exactly like the famous Winterhalter picture and it comes alive. That was AMAZING. However, the music was kind of disappointing at such an important scene. It didn't seem to be powerful enough for such a point in Elisabeth's life. I liked how Elisabeth put out her hand into a stop when Franz Joseph wanted to try to get near her and Maya just gave a look like, sorry but you understand why I am doing this...

As a summary to Act 1, the Wien version of elisabeth concentrates on the story of Elisabeth's life and misses out on the love story between Death and Elisabeth (why death returned Sissi back to the real world straight after she did a circus trick i don't know...there wasn't even a love scene or the Love and Death song, she was just brought back to her bed at home straight away). Overall, i think this version concentrates more on singing and acting and there is little or no dancing. But i like it for the music.

Then the 1st act ended, and i must say, Germans are really smart in engineering. For this disc, you had to flip it over and it's the 2nd act. (how that works i am bewildered...) Sadly, the cataloguing people were a bit stupid and didn't realize what "Akt 2" means on the other side of the disc and they stuck a metallic strip all over the back to ensure people can't steal this disc and it will go off like a racket if somebody does and humilate you infront of others. So naturally, no DVD played can read off a sticker so hopefully on tuesday or something i'm going to uni and tell them what a mistake and possibly damaging thing they have done instead of guarding the disc from theives.  hopefully it won't cost them another 35 Euros. I can't wait to see Act 2......

    -----------------
Looking forward to next saturday. Going to hand in my assignment tomorrow but sadly the library isn't open tomorrow so i can get them to fix the disc (and hopefully not damage it in the process).

    Haircut + Hana Phantom

Had a haircut after work today for trainee for free at Top Image, got it washed cut and straightened. Sarah (the trainee) made a slight mistake and mistook the cutting scissors for the thinning scissors. OH well, hair will grow back and people have to practice somehow to learn right?

    *-*-*-*-*-*-*

On another note, i'm blushing just looking at the extremely beauitful pictures of Osa as phantom of the opera. she looks like a toy soldier dressed as phantom (an an elegant costume that i might add) and the hair do makes her rather dashing.

HOwever, i can not say so for her new top, Sakurano....she looks rather manly as christine.

Oh now i love you takarazuka. And oh how i love you my dear dear Osa...

    Osa Asa keyring

Today i made an Osa and Asa keyring.

Yesterday i spent ages taking apart a keyring my brother got from joining uni club (since he didn't want to keep it why let something go to waste when you can turn it into something more useful like a Taka-keyring???).

AFter 15 minutes or so struggling to take it apart, I discovered that actually they didn't glue the keyring together but it's actually one piece of square plastic cut in the middle and pushed into the centre of the other keyring.
Note to oneself: must remember in case of taking apart any other keyrings people don't want.

Another half an hour was spent pushing the square out of it with mini screw drivers but failing, asked stronger brother to push and whilist using screw driver to yank it out...finally success.

After taking it apart i cut 2 tiny photos out that i printed (was going to make into stickers to stick in school books so i could stare while i'm falling asleep in class). It took me a long time to decide how to arrange the photo because it was too short but 24 hours later this morning, i decided to stick onto some colourful paper in the middle since it matches more than sticking it on the card provided.

I made Asa first stuck her handsome picture on blue paper and wrote on it to fill space   Then continued a half an hour personal struggle deciding if to put Osa on blue or yellow paper and finally decided she looked more striking on yellow

Put Osa in first then Asa at the back then closed plastic cover ontop and keyring and

    A finished beautiful Taka keyring!!

In fact i'm quite proud of myself making such a nice keyring ^^

    Accessories of a Takarasienne

    1) One must always carry a designer handbag

    2) One must have MULTIPLE designer handbags and accessories and must add to collection when paid for hard work acting at the end of each run of a performance

    3) One must always use hats to looks cool and hide one's messy hair

    4) One must always use other shopping bags to hold all the other stuff that one's designer bag can't carry. However, one must not take
just ANY old bag, it must originate from a designer too!!

    5) Sunglasses not only suit the purpose of being "COOL" but it also serves to hid one's beautiful face from the prying eyes of fans.

    More things..

As you probably all know, my brother has returned and bought back a few things from HK.

My Long awaited Jun Sena book that i ordered half a year ago and it got sent to Hong Kong! THe pictures in it are very very handsome!!! And i got an old issue of GRAPH..

     A few more Disney Tees,

And i went shopping after paying a visit to the library and bought a Rosary.
I'm still not Christian, but i have bought it only for fashion purposes. I quite like it!!! It's very cooL and also I bought it because Osa and Asa has one too

    Waku's Retirement

WATARU!!Koizuki Wataru has announced that she will be retiring in November from the world of Takarazuka.  Yet, another retirement this year...i'm quite sad you know and i ended up a little depressed after hearing her news and that night i also fell ill....Wataru san is so friendly to her fans and she smiles and makes other's laughs too.

At first i disliked her, she came out of nowhere and became the top of Hoshigumi and replaced Tartan. But then i met corky and she introduced me to this funny eyebrowed lady named Wataru-kun and then i got to see her and then i began to feel her charisma and kind heart. She's also a very funny person who likes to eat a lot.

I like quite a number of answers she gave for the 90 Questions from Graph translated by Jennifer. You can read the whole article here.

    On the MUSIC School,

    Your favorite class was?
--Sadou (tea ceremony). Because I could eat the snacks (laugh).

What left an impression on you?
--I'd have to say, the cleaning every morning. To clean one place, every morning, for an hour and a half, well there's never going to be cleaning that I put that much love into again.

    What would you do if?

If there was a copy robot of you?
--I'd make it my wife, and have it do the housework (laugh).

Wataru says, she will live up to the promise that she made with her father and enter university. Good luck in your studies Wataru san!!! Although it's a shame you are leaving, i hope that Aran finally gets to become Top.

    Wao's Return

I've developed certain fondness for Soragumi's Yoka Wao quite recently. Maybe because it's because she is really great although not a very good singer but a very natural and charismatic person that beams a radiant ward feeling outwards. I like this kind of natural feeling i get from looking at her and there is no sense of pretense about her.

I'm glad that she's back and attending practice session with her grand finale with O-hana-chan. THey REALLY are the great golden couple of Takarazuka.

Although Wao looks a bit pale like she hasn't seen the light of day in about 1 month, she never forgets to be kind and always wears a beaming smile. I love her dressing taste too. Looks like she got a new Dior bag too.

Did a lot yesterday and went to Gosnells to find out where i will be working tomorrow..and seriously, when i say it is in the middle of Nowhere..it Is!!!

But the centre looks very nice and new and it's in a remote area at the corner of the road next to the doctors surgery. I can't beleive i have to start waking up early now... >~<" It will definately be hard...but i'm lucky i'm going to be sent there since i don't have my own car for the moment..

AFter that we went to the temple on the way near Gosnells and did a little praying for the new year to come then later went to Aunty Sophia's house and indulged in 8 specially made dishes. Hopefully, this year so smoothly and i graduate without any mishaps

Been helping my mother the whole day here and there as she has asked a few guests to come over. Jessica was the first family to come and bai nien and she forgot her ang bao. ^_^ ahhahaha

At a lot tonight also...which involved a lot of eating and stuffing myself with good food prepared only on rare occasions.

Hope the year of the dog brings good outcome to everybody!

    Sushi 寿司

Had Sushi (寿司) for dinner..it's quite pretty and delicious!

And i like Panettone too. It's an Italian christmas cake made from yeast and contains sultanas and candied orange...best with butter.

    15th Jan 06

Day started off quite badly, i HATE it when my mother has home parties...i'm always involved in her schemes and she wants things done a certain way and when i dont' think like her and produce her results, she goes crazy. So i went crazy too...after years of swallowing criticism....i took it out on her. I'm NOT made out for Houseworks or being a good host, i'm a more passive person who enjoys being with others and likes being served by others and relaxing. I have no interest in cooking or any other thing related to kitchen works unlike her side of the family. She just doesn't get it and keeps on comparing and broods over how i'm not like her neices, i'm more an artistic person who likes to draw, paint, watch musicals...and just relax and bum around. How can i mother lack to understand the strengths and weaknesses of her child after 20 years?

Went to duncan's house for the first time with Lisa, Cheryl, Mel, ELiza, Sarah and Jade in 2 cars. i thought Dalkeith was quite far but learnt today was next to UWA....and my goodness, those houses there are MASSIVE. It was nice to see duncan again and his great improvement since the old days in high school. He could walk, move about and talk freely and did as he wished. I really admire Duncan's mother, you could see the love overflowing as she talked or helped her son. I takes a lot of will-power and strength to play her role and for that, i admire this strong woman. We talked heaps and i was reminded of the past days of high school--days i have long forgotten. I'm sure duncan was glad to see us. However, the cake we bought for him was a little frozen and so that was a bit dissappointing part of the day.

Came back home and had afternoon tea for those who stayed back and didn't go home.

Lastly, i found all the andres in Berubara 2005 with Komu-chan as Oscar.
Every andre looks SO handsome. But my favourite would have to be OSa, Asa and Kashige's looks of andre..they look quite similar to the anime andre who also conincidentally is also very handsome..

Oh yeap and i found such an old photo of Takarasiennes which is probably from the 1990s.
Dont' you just love their dress sense?? hahahha..and their haircuts. And my goodness they look so YOUNG and i guess when you are you you have chubby cheeks but as you get older those chubby cheeks turn into a sharp face after harships...Mizu looks so GEEKY..hahahha...(in case you were wondering, Mizu whom i'm beginning to L-o-v-e is the one in white and her Andre is the one on the far Right in the picture of all the andres.

    Shopaholic

    9th Jan 2006

Have currently turned into a Shopaholic...woke up early today because there was sale at City Beach. I can't believe there was so many other people who are as dedicated to shopping for cheap stuff as I am. There were loads of girls and i met Sujin and we both raided the whole girl's section several times salvaging through the items on sale. It's quite fun when you have somebody with you and you play around trying on hats.

Anyways, City beach lied and i didn't find any (or should i say many) surf tees which were $19 as advertised but they were all $29. It's quite disapointing how people overseas fancy surf brands such as ROXY and Billabong and i've been living here for most of my life and don't own a thing with Roxy or Billabong scribbled over a tee. I guess i prefer luxury european goods more...but still, it's one of my fancies to dress up like a true Australian with thongs and mini skirt and a surf branded tee...the image would be...COOl?

After ransacking the store, I ended up deciding to buy a Paul Frank Ribbed Tee PJ set and saved a whopping $50.95 *hurrah!! my first acheivement of the year!!! saving over $50!!!* and Suj bought this pink hat with black mesh which really suited her. I helped her acheive her goal to spending money Wanted to get a brown hat that said Paul Frank too so next time i can wear with suj and not look like losers....somehow those hats look a bit weird and are pointed so you look like a cone. May consider again getting it but i really want a hat with a monkey on it! >_<" or a hat that says ROXY....yes yes, sadly i have been taken over by consumerism.

However, bit disappointed to say that the lemon top bought in myer was a defect in a way and couldn't find the same size in the same colour and so had to return it.  and so i'm quite sad because that top was a sweet yellow colour and so bright and happy.

Later, came back home and then got ready and went to Dim Sum at Yummy BBQ with Aunty Sophia and Julie and them. Tried coconut desert which was very special and very nice and tasted a bit like sego.

Oh, found in my mailbox from Corky Aran Kei's Tokyo Performance of  "Genryuu" which i think is a japanese samurai story and will be looking forward to seeing Aran whom i haven't seen perform since Singing in the Rain but still adore...

btw, i discovered that you can watch cartoons on the Paul Frank website: http://juliusandfriends.com/index2.html

It's so cute!!! And you know what suj, you are the racoon..not the stubby giraffeee..heheheh
    January 05

    1月4日

Well, i've totaly forgetten what i've been doing lately becuase i don't write often enough and my memory span is quite short...but now i remember had quite an inspirational day.

On Monday we went to my Great Aunty's place up the road from us and we got invited for lunch which spared us going to the city for the repetivie and highly oily food of chinese dim sun, and got to eat home made deep friend spring roll, turkey sandwich and chicken snitzels (no idea how to spell this german word..)

Then we went up north to my mum's ex-boss who used to work in brunei and whom we haven't seen in year. (i tell you living up North is like a total different planet from living down South). The spaceship there took more than half an hour to go to Warick and sure the houses are even more massive than the ones in winthrop and are comparable to the ones in Applecross...MASSIVE houses i tell you..quite beautiful and interesting architecture too)  Everybody looked well and healthy and we all got to catch up. I tried sweets for christmas especially imported all the way from Jordan and they taste different! Laughed a lot also becuase somehow we ended up taking about gay people and then Aunty Faridah's solution was to "KICK HIM" (the gay dude) and we had debates and i could see the difference in the way we think about work ethics between the generation gap. Unfortunately, i fit into the younger generation gap and care more about holidays and having fun than working to support your family.

Rushed home because Aunty nana and uncle yong wanted to come over and asked us to go out for dinner. Ended up talking about the future and how to make money. Uncle yong was pretty funny about talking about the poverty of most people with the work ethics that most of you and I hold..."fun over working hard". His advice was to work hard when your young and you have the energy and then play later like what he did, and in no time you'll be a millionare like him (I'm not joking when i say he's a millionare, he has more than a few million) who can buy anything he wants without thinking of the price---such as buying aeroplane tickets, houses, land, businesses. Then we went out to eat and he said to me, "Would you like to drive my Mercedes Benz? This will give you an inspiration to work hard for your money and you can own one in the future". To drive a mercedes was too hard to reject, so i took the keys. The keys for the mercs aren't even metal keys like we usually have---they are plastic keys that are in a strange shape. The $200 000 car was fully equipped with GPS system, sensors, TV, telephone and all this other rubbish you really wouldn't find in normal cars---this IS a luxury vehicle. When you sat in and turned on the key, the seat and mirrors automatically ajust to your height....so damn COOL. However, the downside of owning such a fancy comes also the fancy pricetag of car servicing which costs a pocket straining $1000. That could sure feed a lot of mouths in Africa.

However, driving that car i am fully inspired to work hard...the whole day has been about working hard for a good and decent future. However, i do have my doubts, uncle yong takes tables for high blood pressure and other numerous human stress-related diseases. Is this the result of working hard? Is so then why should you work at only at an older age when you are more vulnerable and prone to so many human fralities and the cruelness of old age where you might not be able to enjoy your life anymore even if you have the money. This is for sure not a win-win situation and both choices has it's consequences.

    ---------------------------

    OTHER STUFF

Watching Rose of Versailles again and damn it's so damn good that seriously, people who don't watch it, i feel sorry for them and it's sure a misfortune! They have been robbed from a great work of art.

Bought a yellow top today from Myer and can't wait for my boobs to sag  my boobs are too high and so most of the tops that i wear are far too low and that top it just manageable but on the exposing side....but i like that top very much it's got lots of shiney stuff on it!

I also watched the chocolate program on SBS yesterday coz there was absolutely nothing to watch. They said the word chocolate so many times that i really could't resist the temptation of eating a chocolate and enjoyed the elixum of chocolate through my system. Everytime they said chocolate or even they showed pictures of fine chocolate from around the world, i would taste it in my mouth.......chocolate...or as the french pronounce it in a sensual and pompous manner 'chocolat'. They way they talked about chocolate made my mouth water and even now typing about chocolate i'm craving for it.

Oh and i just remember yesterday i got haircut in which i asked my mother's friend to cut for me. Fringe looks a bit weird...and i think i look totally different and really weird..hahha oh well hair will grow back.

and today i spent the afternoon cleaning doors. What you need clean doors for beats me but my crazy mother finially got me to clean doors so i was scrubbing them hard with jif to leave them a creamy colour. I can't even tell if the door is clean or not to a non clean door. it's all the same. It hink it's for self satisfaction. Anyways, it got my blood pressure higher because my mother always complains she NEVER has the time to clean the house but she doesn't realise that she wastes her time on making food..food that i'm mostly so sick of eating. Even if we ate less we wouldn't die. PLUS, she can't understand that we are not like her side of the family who love food. We eat so little and she just can't understand....after 19 years you would think one would begin to get through their head their family doens't eat much...and after every meal there are always leftovers. *shakes head*

Holidays will be coming to an end soon..BooHoo..

    January 01

    A new start in 2006

    HAPPY NEW YEAR

So how did i spend new year eve you may be wondering? After desperately trying to find somebody to leech food off my mother asked me again if i wanted to go out to eat and then i said yes. So we went to chinese restaurant in bateman and had dinner with my Kai ma, her boyfriend and her 2 sons meng and john and his gf adeliade and at heaps.

Then came home and withing half an hour, a last minute plan came up and mel and suj came over to my house for food because mel's 6th sense called her over---because there was cake. Seriously, mel is always lucky and she when she always come over she gets to eat cake. So they came over and we watched tv, played on the computer and mel learnt how to read msn spaces, and looked at old high skool photos and looked to compare if we've grown fatter but most importantly look older. Yes, most of us has aged within 4 years which is a huge disappointment. More of a dissapointment was when mel pointed out we really wouldn't have much friends to invite to our 21st.  We also took photos for the last memories of 2005.  Laughed heaps and it was really fun even though there was only 3 people.

At around 11:30 mum made coffee for us and then when we heard fireworks we decided it was the New year and cut a chocolate moose cake decorated with writing 'happy new year 2006" and ate. It was delicious i must admit! Suj and mel left around 12.30 i think and then computer freaks all logged online straight after they went home and i'd clean up what was left to be cleaned up and said happy new year again to each other.

So, total kilos gained over the holiday season 1.5kg....EXCELLENT...it will sure be harder to get rid than to gain that's for sure..

Today woke up about 11.20AM first got ready then reading suj's msg about my brother's name being in Sunday Times went to buy it with Geoffrey driving. God, he's SUCH a bad driver and he thought he was good. He only knew how to drive nicely on straight roads but anything that involved turning, reversing out of a driveway, slowing down was a complete disaster! I yelled so much (i can't help but yell at him because it gives me authoritory and it's the only time i can feel superior to him) and then I drove back home to show him what to do. I think he learnt a bit.

Went to my neighbours annual new year party. It was really really good and lots of children around and i ate absolutely so much-sushi, charcoal chicken, rice, chocolate, fruits-- that i really couldn't breath or move and felt sleepy after eating so much. I played with my mother and some other kids a fishing game (you may know this one but it was one of my favourite games when i was a kid) and you fish for the fish in a rotating motion which open and closes their mouth with small rods. My mum was bad at this game and i fished 17 fish while she only caught 5. Then we watched young children played it and discovered their co-ordination skills weren't up to standard as adults and then they were smart and stoped the fish from moving then proceeded to put the rods in the fishes with open mouths and then pressed ON again so it closed it mouth than fished it out. Young children these days already know how to cheat.

Carried the most massive 9 month old baby ever. SO heavy that after i had to put it down becuase it was like 15 kg so HeaVy but So cute...it's cheeks were bloated and it didn't mind you pinching them. he was so adorable but so heavy...maybe like 15kg.....a really really heavy baby.

Also when i was playing ont he floor with the kids, forgot i was right behind a table tennis table and when i got up off the floor my back cut into the edge of the table and now my back really really hurts. There's a cut. Luckily nothing stuck out or for sure my spinal chord would have been pierced and i'd be paralysed.  *bad thought*

Came home and slept in the afternoon because was seriously overstuffed. It sure feels good to have a nap after stuffing yourself and i'm still full from their good food.

Anyways, hope you all have a good year in 2006. I sure hope everything goes smoothly and i will step out of the bad forces that have been surrounding me. Going to watch the final episode of the triology of 'Sissi' tonight after the Vienna Concert which is an annual concert and it  plays the most incredible music of the Strauss family just to celebrate the new year. They even showed footage of the hofburg (residence of the hapsburg family empire in europe)  which at first i thought it was quite a dull and original palace, however after seeing that footage and the gardens of the palace it was indeed a splendor. You can also see the city of vienna at the Hofburg. How would elisabeth thought this palace was a bore?  Definately want to go to Vienna!! The gardens and the country side were just so beautiful--a luxurious green that you definately wouldn't ever see in Australia (not even in the botanical gardens). I love europe!!

Anyways, hope you all have a fantastic and healty year in 2006--for sure some people i know will and it's a beginning of a new life for lisa and celment who will be man and wife at the end of this year, for me i hope to graduate and be lucky enough to find a job and also furfill my dream of going back to Japan to see my Osa and Asa live in person, travelling around europe, win millions in the lottery and do watever i want without caring about how much money i spend because i will always have plenty. Sounds like a great year! Let's make a start!!!

Post Christmas Dinner at Suj's House

    28 Dec 05

All have been looking forward for today's dinner at suj's house--where we girls all got together in such a long time and ate heaps. We had a barbeque outside with also fresh made homemade salad that lisa, suj, chek, mandy and lavinia had worked hard on during the day. Then eliza and I cut lettuce and decorated salads while the others put finishing touches to the cake and marinated the meats.

Some misunderstandings occured and we ate no pasta, but for sure there was PLENTY TO EAT...so lucky there was no pasta. I still feel so bloated after dinner which lasted for 1 hour from 6AM to 7AM. Dinner was really good, Suj's father was the cook and he was so funny and a great barbequer...IMHO i think barbeque at someone's house is much better than barbeque at Heathcote...or maybe coz this was girls only (but still, i think it's much better especailly if it's at suj's house) and we just talked non-stop about everything but mostly of lisa's all important day and future plans. Became a bit of a clumsy after only 1 sip of 4% alchoholic drink which tasted quite nice and not long after became Red. I have eaten, 2 nice cows, 1 fatty lamb with all the fatty bits removed and 2 sausages, garlic bread, salad, bread, and LOTS of sushi and 2 korean stuffed riceballs which were so tasty. (Can you tell by what i've eaten, i've already put on another kilo??) Muhahhahah it was really me who consume all that sushi!! One other thing too was i got to see Min, i'm sure she has been avoiding all of us but it's good to see her again after 1 year and a half :)

After dinner we moved all things back inside the house and played games! First was 'Articulate' which is kind of difficult if you don't know the word that your trying explain to others for them to guess and there was no clear winner so we gave up and watched PICTIONARY instead. Pictionary was definately more exciting and we spilt up into 3 groups and had so many laughs from the retarded pictures that each of us drew. Most funny would have to be Lisa's Mermaid which seriously didn't look like a mermaid and the effiel tower. I haven't screamed and laughed so loud in such a long time and yes, it WAS SO DAMN FUN To be YOUNG and ALIVE again. As mandy said, 'Sharon your useless at guessing'...but for sure my smart team members suj and lisa can guess my pictures quickly so we won!! (HA TAKE THAT LOSERS) hahahaha

Talked to Min after for a while after we won while others cut desert and then they went to watch TV while i played on the computer with Min. She's seen rose of versailles before!!! So cooL..it is the best anime ever and even beats today's anime.

So we played until about 11.20 eyes starting to get blurry and mel needed to work and basically everybody was quite tired...so suj skillfully cut their beautifully decorated Chocolate Cadbury cake and distributed them amongs ourself and we shipped ourselves out.

Thanks guys for the good time  I really really really enjoyed today and had a blast (hopefully this can stay in my memory) if not still got other reliable sources who don't have obaaasan memories like me yet. It's so fun i want to do it again...but maybe next time a tea party and we can cook muffins and other sweets in order to get fat after. Most importantly, must thank sujs parents, jeik for his help, min and sujin for hosting us rascals who reversed the clean state of her house and made a mess. Thanks everyone!!!

Btw, also it seems my fox has recovered and is going to practices for tokyo's performance.
Looks a bit thin and pale but i'm glad she's back and smiling.

    Love you all, xoxox

    Post Christmas Sales

I'm so tired!!!! My body aches after a whole full on day of shopping (it's kinda like working except you shop for yourself and others)

Got to the stores at 8AM this morning and followed my mother to Kmart where she made a few purchases. Then we proceeded to MYER and collected the phamplets will all information about 'Australia's biggest sale'...my god, there was so many people...and yes, this time the commerical didn't lie to you and it was a sale. every hour there were specials. So, i practically spent my whole day in MYER...

Went to Bullcreek Shopping Centre after to search for toys for my dear and lovely neighbours..what are boys into these days i don't know. I can't remember when i was a kid what wanted for christmas because i never got what i wanted when i wrote to santa. In yr 2 i remember in mrs lonely's class we had to write a nice and neatly printed letter to Santa telling him what we wanted and i wanted this doll where you could pull it's face and body apart to reveal hidden compartments of stamps and stickers. We then had to show it to our parents *HINT HINT* but Santa never gave me that cool doll. That was when i realised there WAS NO SANTA...SANTA was your parents....

Went to JUST JEANS After and they had quite nice cloths. i don't know about you but sometimes i'm uncomfortable with my mother wearing clothes i should be wearing. She bought 2 boobtubes....Yes, i think if you are young and have body shape you may wear boobtubes but definately not when you are climbing up that hill! I tell you, she's more fashionable than i am!!!!

Went to Carosel and bought my neighbour tees (they usually celebrate New Years day and we give christmas presents coz they spend their christmas in adelaide every year) and then went around looking and jeans from Sportsgirl (which i'm proud to announce the first time ever i've shopped in that store), a working black vest from portmans (one of my fav stores) it was something like asako's a picture that i saw just recently

     OH WHAT A HAPPY ASAKO!!^^
<--I bought something like this but with a lower neck

and a black top from myer than cheryl c has too. I saw that top in October catalogue and i  knew i wanted it then....it's a really nice body revealing top. I realised these days you need to dress a little bit more nicer because when you get old and have babies your body but most importantly your face will never look like as it is now. So girls, i say dress as sexy as you can now...or regret it F-O-R-E-V-E-RRRRR

Then went back Garbo in the hope of meeting up with Suj and Mel for tomorrow's gathering and looked at stuff in woolworths. Absolutely nobody in woolworths and we could have raided the store without being caught by others. Everybody flocked into MYER. Again, david jones was also another disapointment with absolutely nothing to buy. If my lovely neighbour gets me another gift certificate for david jones i will be even more disappointed...they don't even sell britney's fantasy there. but might by J.lo live (smelts nice and kinda like fantasy) or spend it on preventing getting old and invest on AQUAFUSION by Lancome or save up for Miss Dior Cherie or even might buy old obaasan handbag.

Suj, Mel and now Eliza thinks i have obaasan tastes in handbags...they are classics dude....every single one i picked out was considered "old" or too big to put anything in. I can't help it if i have a taste of obaasan bags...

So, in the end quite happy today i bought a few clothing although i never know when to wear them and keep in cupboard for storage   Also want to show you what i wraped during christmas..i love wrapping presents and making them to perfection...so i wrapped christmas cake my mother made for her friends and i also show you what i bought today with my dodgy DV coz my digital camera is not here >_<" I want another one plzzzz......ho ho ho so greeeeeeeddddyyy

    ANGER!!

I must be cursed....i have bad luck in everything that i do. I feel so useless and worthless.

I'm watching old anime 'Rose of Versailles' and now i'm used to the olden day style of anime downloaded for me by my classmate Eric ...it is very VERy good!! it's a bit of historical romance anime which as you might have guessed involves the French Queen and King Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI and made up characters Lady Oscar and Andre. I'm up to episode 22 and the picture and sound are all muddled up. This carries on for another 9 episodes!! 9 episodes!!! I'm so angry!! I have fallen for the charm of Lady oscar..just like the French ladies at Court...as they say,  The Man of our Dreams is a Woman

Currently a bit angry with my father, he thinks he knows everything and is pig-headed and doens't understand. He's like "MRI Is the Future" and " you must study in the holidays"..."learn about Mri, that's where medical imaging is going to head". Look up the definition of 'holiday' in the dictionary dude! PLUS, i asked Rob (head of department) about all the modality and all are going to be equally important because each demonstrates one thing better than another and like another other machine has advantages and disadvantages. ...GRRrrrr i'm so angry. I told him 'i don't want to talk about it anymore' and put down the phone.

Spent the whole day cleaning the dust which has collected maybe for over 10 year+ on Fake Plants. Advice for all who think of getting plastic flowers in their home: NEVER DECORATE YOUR HOME WITH FAKE PLANTS, they only collect dust and spiderwebs and don't make your children suffer cleaning them. Then i had to stab them and arrange them again. For sure if i were a 'smart' parent, i would have smashed that stupid small waste of space in the ground instead of wasting a few hundred dollars to call a professional to decorate your home with FAKE Flowers and replaced a drawer there full of photos. On the other hand, that would require more dusting. Damn you dust! On another note also NEVER buy blinds for your house, get curtains instead...blinds are heavy dust collectors and are hard to clean and can ruin when you clean them once every 10 years when all the dust has become sticky.

Why do i feel like crying?

leave you with a quote that i found which i think is pretty good.
"Welcome to Romance Theatre! The fantasy arena for Japanese women. If men can go to strip bars to get their SEXUAL fantasies fulfilled, why shouldn't there be a place for women to watch their EMOTIONAL fantasies played out? "

Well, that is the reason why many women resort to the addiction of Korean dramas, love stories and Takarazuka. Because we are emotionally deprived.

    CONGRATULATIONS
LISA & CLEMENT ON THEIR ENGAGEMENT!
    :・'゚ 。.:*:・'゚

Very happy for both of them. and just want to let you know that it takes more than love to maintain a marriage but also involves commitment from both sides and making lots of sacrifices. I must find you that book that couples should read before getting married, questions like: "Who's going to pay the bills" etc...

So there goes the big news of the day  Woke up at 12 today so you know what i did in the morning ...created an MSN Group for ex-students of applecross senior high and promoted sujin from member to assistant manager :) Posted a lot on the internet on my Yahoogumi and i think Takarazuka should exploit OKTOBERFEST as a Revue theme! It would be so fun watching drunk Takarasiennes on stage singing and dancing whilst holding beer glasses.

So hot today, 32.5 degrees..what a scorcher...upstairs was a real oven baker. But i got to swim in the afternoon of hard work and that felt really good. Made dinner all by myself too--spinach and ricotta pasta toped with cheese, salad and garlic bread.

Definately need to go now to watch Sissi!!! Will write a review about it tomorrow!

    Takarazuka Irimachi

Today I learnt the truth about Takarazuka irimachi..the rumours are true...Osa is quite mean at irimachi. (irimachi is when the Taka stars come into the grand theatre building and all the fans crouched down on the group and in their groups are waiting for their favourite stars sometimes there for hours just to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars)

The purple car pulled up (i think it's a nissan maxium--do they sell nissan's in japan?) 2 ladies came to her rescue and one lady opened the door for her while the other lady opened the back seat and got out her belongings. Funny that the doors were opened with perfect syncronization!

Sumire Haruno got out of the car within less than 1 second and then the doors were closed by the 2 ladies and the car sped off  whilst the next car was coming to drop off their all important taka star. Within a few steps, Osa adjusted her handbag onto her arm by using the art of the japanese way of holding a handbag (ie, carried like an Obaachan) and walked up to a fan member who had already collected all her postcards from fans in a white bag and she gave a small nod of approval and moved her mouth. The fan member then retreated to her lower position and crouched down on the ground whilst Osa was already moving and gave a smile to her slaves which she has got under her spell and looked at them for maybe a millisecond and waved with one hand to the crouched dedicated servants who wished her goodbye and said 'itterashai'.

Osa then continued to preceed with her head slightly bent down towards the entrance door whilst a few mobile phones, video cameras and digital cameras were being put to good use (possibly for personal use or profit) and another fan which got her belongings just hooked it onto her arm and backed away while she entered the entrance to continue her day.

This all occured within 22 seconds......talk about a moving target!!!! It would be difficult to shoot her down and i'm absolutely shocked at how brisk and how fast-paced irimachi is. Women wait a few hours just for 22 seconds to see a fox run?

I've always imagined Osa as a kind and considerate person because she has such a cute and has such kind eyes that smile. So i'm really shocked at what i've seen...she was so....unthoughtful...so...uncaring...so...COLD. Maybe the whole process was too fast for me because i'm used to seeing hollywood stars greeting and sign things for their fans in a friendly manner and talk to the press.

At least she gave the crowd a small smile  we all know the importance of a smile.
